Help keep our neighbour safe by reporting suspicious activity in the neighbourhood. can all understand the feelings of threat and anxiety that this will bring up among everybody. This can strike an urge to report to 9-1-1 or another emergency line to ensure you and your family are safe.
Call or report online
Residents have reported ongoing suspicious activity in our neighbourhood, including individuals:
- Checking vehicles and doors to see whether they are unlocked
- Entering or stealing from unlocked vehicles
- Stealing Amazon packages and other deliveries from doorsteps
Please remain alert and report every incident to the Ottawa Police Service—even if nothing was taken. Each report helps police identify patterns, track recurring activity and direct resources where they are needed.
For suspicious activity or an incident that is not currently in progress, please use the Ottawa Police Service non-emergency reporting line or online reporting system.
If a crime is in progress or there is an immediate threat to your safety, always call 911.
You can also help by locking vehicles, homes, garages and sheds; removing valuables from vehicles; using delivery notifications; and collecting packages promptly. If it is safe to do so, note relevant details such as the time, location, description of the person or vehicle, direction of travel and any available camera footage.
Please do not confront anyone. Stay safe, look out for your neighbours and report what you observe.
