Help Make Our Community Events a Success!
Looking for a great way to meet your neighbours, give back to the community, and help make Central Park an even better place to live? We’d love to have you join our volunteer team!
The Ottawa Central Park Community Association relies on volunteers to bring our community together through fun, welcoming events and neighbourhood initiatives. Whether you can spare a few hours once a year or would like to volunteer more regularly, every contribution makes a difference.
Volunteer Opportunities
Throughout the year, we look for volunteers to help with a variety of events and activities, including:
- Community Fun Day – Assist with setup and takedown, children’s activities, games, registration, and event support.
- Movie Night in the Park – Help with setup, welcoming attendees, concession support, and cleanup.
- Community Easter Egg Hunt – Help hide the eggs before the event, assist families during the hunt, hand out candy and prizes, and help with setup and cleanup.
- Community Clean-Up Day – Help organize supplies, register participants, and work alongside neighbours to keep our community beautiful.
- Board Game Night – Welcome participants, assist with setup, refreshments, and create a fun, friendly atmosphere for all ages.
No previous experience is necessary—just a willingness to lend a hand and be part of our community.

Signing up for our volunteer list does not commit you to every event. It simply means we’ll let you know when volunteer opportunities become available, and you can decide which events fit your schedule and interests.
Whether you have an hour to spare or can help throughout an event, your time and enthusiasm help make these activities possible. Together, we can continue building a vibrant, connected, and welcoming Central Park community.
