One Primer I and Primer II session will be held on Saturday mornings only for the Fall, 2013, due to the demands on staff of the Building a Liveable Ottawa 2031 project and the public information sessions being planned for the end of September.  

To register, e-mail primer@ottawa.ca no later than September 18, 2013. Seating is limited to 45 residents per session.

The Planning and Growth Management Department offers the Planning Primer Program to help residents become more aware of, and more involved in, the land-use planning process.  The program is a series of half-day courses.  Please see our schedule for other Primer courses.

To make the most of the information being presented, residents must attend the Primer I course before attending Primer II and attend both the Primer I and II courses before attending an elective course. The content of these Primer courses is the same as those offered in previous years. The courses are offered in English only.
