Volunteers will be spending 2 hours in the snow in shorts and tank-tops to raise money and awareness about what’s happening to the Syrian refugee camps. Each donation will allow an activist 3 minutes to warm up with a blanket.

On November 27th, 2012, 3 refugees froze to death in Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.
Over 400,000 Syrians are living in makeshift camps, and the harsh winter is up ahead. Last winter, many Syrians died from hypothermia. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen this winter.

For as little as $10, you can keep a Syrian refugee warm. Despite the coldness of our world, we can send the refugees some warmth this winter.

Here is what you can do:

1. Donate.
2. Personally contact 10 friends that you are close with and ask them to donate!.
3. Invite people on Facebook and explain to them the campaign and commit them to donate.
4. Do whatever you can to prevent one more death among those dignified refugees.
