By At City Council this Wednesday, under consent, Council unanimously approved the lifting of the “H” (holding zone) as it pertains to the rezoning of Laurentian Place. This was the final administrative step prior to finalizing the Site Plan. Again, barring any unforeseen issues, Phase 1 construction is set to begin in the next 2 weeks.
In response to an inquiry about the City of Ottawa’s Noise By-law regarding construction, construction is permitted from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Sunday and any statutory or public holiday, construction activities cannot start before 9:00 a.m. and must conclude by 10:00 p.m. This by-law applies to all construction.
